In 1970s, as an engineer and founder of Weigal, Andreas Weigal, who was a German by birth and had inherited the exquisite packaging technology of his family, moved to reside in the United States and set up the professional packaging workshop of his family brand. Afterwards, with the driving force of the revolution in science and technology, the packaging industry and film printing materials kept on developing, which enabled the Weigal family industry to be gradually expanded into the upstream and downstream of the packaging industry. In the early 1980s, adhering to the German technology and American industry traditions, Weigal began providing special packaging printing ink and adhesive products with saturated polyester as the main material and offering unique solutions for soft substrates.
To promote the development and application of the green environmental production, Weigal set up quality management system and focus on surface treatment products with high heat resistance, high whiteness, high flexibilityin automobile, electronic industries. And the company is always ready to meet customers’ demands for soft material application, and to provide stable and high quality products.
In order to improve the development in China, Weigal entered Asia-Pacific in 2009 by formally bringing its brands “ BESPERFON®、BESVECTOR®、KLEAYTHER® ” into the Chinese market, and providing high quality printing ink, adhesive products and perfect technical tracking service for customers in the Asia-Pacific region as well.
In the year of 2010, Weigal Asia R&D Center was established to further strengthen the research and development of the soft material application technology such as a representative product--special ink for LED. It will put more energy into the Chinese market in designing and developing products and solutions to meet the needs of the local customers. Meanwhile, it will make use of resource advantages of China to promote the development of technology and make contributions to the global innovationin flexible material application technology.
